A gift basket is an option that allows you to split out items in your cart that you want sent to different addresses.
For example, you may be purchasing for yourself and for your nephew in North Carolina. Rather than creating 2 separate orders, you can create a separate Gift Basket for those items you want shipped to North Carolina.
At any point that you are adding items to your cart, you can click on "Gift Basket." You will be prompted to enter the name and the zip code for the person to which you want to ship items. You can create multiple gift baskets.
Once you have created your gift basket(s), you can move items from your shopping cart into the appropriate basket. Choose the quantity you want moved (you cannot move a quantity higher than you originally added to your shopping cart), choose the name of the gift basket you want it moved to, and then click "Move." You can even move things back to your shopping cart or to a different basket if you change your mind on what you'd like to send.
When you are finished, proceed to checkout. You will be prompted to enter shipping information for each basket and will see the list of items in each basket. You may go back to make changes to the gift baskets or your shopping cart by clicking Make Cart Changes. When you finalize your order, you will see that each gift basket, as well as your order, will have its own order number.
Please note that you must have items in your shopping cart in addition to any gift basket(s) in order to checkout. |
