I started adding cards to the org so I can start trading on this site, but I am not sure if I want to spend money on the org to go over 100 cards or on the opg. How many of you guys are actively trading on here?

It's kind of a loaded question, right... We're all here and (most of us are) using it...
You would need to determine how much value you get out of it for yourself. There are some guys who make trades what seems like every day. I go through spurts where I'll make 5 or 6 over a couple weeks then go dry for a couple weeks here, but maybe pick up steam somewhere else.
I feel like I get the value out of the inventory tool (I link back to my org on other sites as well) and the guide. The trading community is a welcome bonus and the occasional trade is an even bigger one.
If you're unsure, try it for a month or two and see how it goes.

I'm still actively trading. I'm like Fred, I use the org\inventory more for keeping track of my collection, the trading to me is a bonus and it has helped out my Oilers PC immensely. I've got to much time\money invested over the years to stop now LOL
