1946, 1947, 1948, 1949 Red Sox Team Issue Cards

1946, 1947, 1948, 1949 Red Sox Team Issue Cards
Can anyone shed some light on how to tell whether cards are from the 1946, 1947, 1948 or 1949 Red Sox Team Issue sets? I collect Dave "Boo" Ferriss cards... He's in each of these sets... I have bought two cards on eBay over the years, one listed as a 1946... The other as a 1947, but they are the same card... Maybe someone who owns all 4 sets could send me scans of the Ferriss cards so I'll know what to look for... Thanks in advance for any help...

are those the black and white 6 X 9 photos? I don't have any to compare, but I believe there were certain years, 46 & 47 being two of them, that they reused the pictures from the previous season and only changed out the one or two players that changed on the roster. I'm not even sure there are any identifying marks on the envelope the picture came in. I think (but am not really sure) the only way to definitively identity the year is to have the entire sent and see which player are include in the pack.
50,000+ Red Sox cards and counting.

Yes, they're the 6x9 Black and white photos... You may be right on the 46s and 47s... As I said, I bought a "1946" and a "1947" on eBay at different times and they are the same pic... Am hoping someone with the full sets will see all this and be nice enough to scan the Ferriss card so I can see what it looks like....
