For 17 months (!) Panini has been sitting on a 2021-22 Hoops "teal explosion" parallel RC of Isaiah Livers that I sent in for a damage replacement.

After months of crickets from Panini and very weary of their impending demise, in an effort to get anything, I finally sold out and gave in to their offer of three 2022-23 NBA Prizm Sparkle packs to close out the ticket.

Could I land a great RC like Paolo Banchero or Keegan Murray for my Kings PC or Jaden Ivey for my Pistons PC?





Yeah ... no.

I got one rookie card (Jaylin Williams, Thunder) in three packs.

Here's the breakdown.

Pack 1:

- Rudy Gobert red sparkle
- Clint Capela red sparkle
- Paskal Siakam blue sparkle/144

WTF, on to Pack 2:

- Gary Trent Jr. red sparkle
- Patrick Beverly red sparkle
- Bones Hyland blue sparkle/144

Panini gonna Panini, FFS, on to Pack 3:

- Jaylin Williams red sparkle RC
- Evan Mobley red sparkle - color match (LOL) and Trojans PC card

The last card, however, saved the break ...





Stephen Curry blue sparkle, number 024/144!

If I had pulled another common I would have been highly irritated with this break.

I also have three 2022 sparkle football packs coming for a Sam Ehlinger rookie auto I sent in for a damage replacement 18 months ago.

Given the results of this break I'm not expecting much.

I guess I got something, at least.

Plus it's a color match eBay 1/1!!!

Also should mention, Panini gonna Panini and the Curry card does not fit in a one touch holder ... not because of the thickness, but because it's too tall.

Speaking of ... anyone know any manufacturers that make magnet cards with a little more room in them?

(Not talking thickness, meaning more room on sides and top to bottom)

Any ideas would be much appreciated, thanks!

Still looking for a one touch with a little more room top to bottom and side to side than the standard Ultra Pro ... anyone know of any company like this?
