Banger bros,

So I went to Texas for a work trip last week.

While I was there, I found an awesome card shop in Frisco in the Cowboys-themed downtown section known as "Jerry's World."

I did something I said I would never do - buy marked up retail blasters.

Why?

Three reasons:

1) I knew the DBN in my area back home wouldn't leave these alone long enough for me to find any
2) Hobby boxes of 4 packs of 10 cards were $300, so $150 for 90 cards seemed like a better deal
3) I thought it would be really cool to get my first pack-pulled Wemby card in the state of Texas

So, I bought 3 at the low low price of $50 each.

First two blasters, no Wemby, and even had some base doubles.

BUT! In the first pack of the third blaster - BASE WEMBY BANGER! LET'S EFFING GOOOOOOO, KIDS

I'm glad you got one in your packs. Always fun to go to an NFL game since you were in town anyways.

It's only the second game I ever went to as a fan - saw the Lions beat the Raiders in Oakland in 2011, and then Sunday saw the Cowboys destroy the Giants.

It sounds like you were due to see an NFL game. I'm going to the Packers game December 17th. Hopefully it will be a good game.
