All Done With 2023 Stadium Club - Don't Believe the Hype!

All Done With 2023 Stadium Club - Don't Believe the Hype!
My Fellow Gem Fire Banger Bros,

I guess over the past couple weeks I bought all 9 Stadium Club blasters that DID NOT have a Gold Chrome Refractor Auto of (name your favorite Hall of Famer or rookie).

Saw allllllll these online posts and breaks about how "fire" the SC blasters were, and like an idiot I bought into the hype.

Finally pulled the base Corbin Carroll RC this morning and am calling it good after nearly $300 pretty much lit on "fire."

The final tallies ... remember, 9 blasters, which is 72 packs ...

- 0 autos
- 1 base Chrome card, and it was Byron ".224" Buxton
- One numbered card, some Aaron Judge insert/99

That's it, the rest were base and low end parallels.

Did get triples and quads of some base though, all from the same store, that was fun

Think I might buy some Ohtani Dodgers sngles this year and call it good on 2024 baseball as well.

Maybe a couple of Holiday blasters 9 months from now.

Opened two of them. Got a beam team Ohtani in the first box.

Nice!

No Beam Teams for me either.

Haven't been this disappointed in a product in a long time.

Personally, I'm on the fence. I bought one blaster and pulled an Ohtani Triumvirates insert, a Jeter chrome refractor, and some interesting rookies. If the photography wasn't so enticing I would give up, but I might try one more.
I collect Dany Heatley, Nicklas Backstrom, all Red Wings and most Yankees.

They're beautiful cards, for sure ... I just got sucked in by all the huge autos and other pulls people were posting.

Should have remembered the golden rule - almost nobody posts their bad or even "meh" breaks.
