Gem Fire Case Breaker Bros,

So yesterday at Walgreen's I grabbed four 2-pack blister packs that had 2021 Topps Chrome NPB Japan packs on top, was looking for Yamamoto cards.

None of those, but each 2-pack also contained a pack of regular 2023 Topps Chrome as well.

(Pretty darn good blister packs for $7 or whatever.)

Anyway, pulled this guy in the first pack ...


  


MVP Buyback candidate for $100 at a local card shop!

Only problem is, I thought it was expired, so I called Topps and they said yesterday was the last day of the promotion.

So I hightailed it to the closest shop to me and was able to turn it into $67 worth of more products and $33 worth of PC singles - was thrilled with what I got.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention ... there was an equally shiny card directly behind the Shohei ...





So no Yamamotos in the NPB packs, but his two contemporaries definitely made up for it.
