A friend of mine has a slabbed 1952 card in a SCC slab and the grade is Authentic. I don't know much about graded cards but I know a lot of you do. What would be the grade on that?

I had read about cheaper grading options to only prove that an older card has not been trimmed or faked. I think that is the situation here.
Yeah most likely the card isn't in great condition so they had the card graded as authentic. This way the card is protected and everyone knows it is a legit card.
