The 1990-91 Upper Deck Hockey set contains 550 standard-size cards released in two series of 400 and 150 cards, respectively. The card fronts feature color action photos while the backs feature biographical information, a card number, career statistics and a small Upper Deck authenticity hologram. This small hologram features the words "Upper Deck" in the foreground with "90" and a pair of hockey sticks printed in the background. This is considered the standard hologram for both Series One and Series Two. Series One cards can also be found printed with two other Upper Deck Hologram types on the back: the 1990 Upper Deck Comic Ball hologram that features the words "Upper Deck" in the foreground and "90" and an image of carrots (in honor of Bugs Bunny) in the background, and the 1990 Upper Deck Baseball hologram that features the words" Upper Deck" in the foreground and an image of a baseball in the background. Series Two cards can also be found with the 1991-92 Upper Deck Hockey hologram that features "Upper Deck" in a stacked layout in the foreground and "19" upside down in the background without any hockey stick images. Finally, there was also a French language version that was produced in slightly smaller quantities compared to the English version featuring the same 1990-91 Hockey hologram. Series Two French cards can be found with a variation hologram attached to the cardbacks that was primarily used for 1991 Upper Deck Baseball. [Collapse]
