2016 Panini Phoenix Football Card Details
2016 Panini Phoenix Football is not a product dedicated to the Arizona Cardinals. The name evokes images of something rising from the ashes. But this is a new brand. What about fire? Panini showed with 2016 Origins Football that they can be inspired directly by their competitors. But 2016 Phoenix Football isn’t Topps Fire Redux, either. Rather, it’s a line centers on abstract backgrounds and lots of color — kind of like a mash-up of Panini’s Totally Certified, Elite and Momentum lines.
Big colors aside, 2016 Panini Phoenix Football has three total autographs and memorabilia cards per box.
Base Set
The 2016 Panini Phoenix Football base set has both veteran and rookie players. It totals 200 cards with veterans and retired players taking up the first 150 spots on the checklist. Rookies round out the set, totaling 50 with one every other pack.
Parallels include Red, Pink, Orange (/99), Yellow (/25), Green (/10), Printing Plates and Blue (1/1).
Autographs and Memorabilia Cards
Autographs and memorabilia cards come in various combinations we have come to expect. Basic names are fairly standard like Veteran Autograph Materials, Retired Patches and Triple Patch Autographs. These are about focusing on the content they deliver.
Rookie Hot Materials include some tough parallels that come with swatches Nike Swoosh logos, helmets, helmet logos and Vapor Jet gloves. RPS Rookie Auto Jerseys have base versions numbered to 249 and 99. Those quantities drop with patch parallels all the way down to 1/1 NFL Shields.
Inserts
When you add up the inserts and parallels, there’s nine per box. That likely means they’re replace by the hits in the remaining three packs.
Basic inserts include Adrenaline Rush, Watchmen and Streaking Success.

Meh…not impressed with the design…or the name of this set…
me either
I love the cards, I’m thinking about how much money I can save, and buy as many of these as possible, these are great!
This design is awful … sticker autographs … no thanks. Isn’t a Phoenix supposed to rise? This just settles into a mediocre mid-range, sell-below-cost type of place.
