The cards were intended to be placed in six-packs of Royal Crown Cola, one per six-pack. The cards measure 3" by 6". The front features a black-and-white head shot framed by a basketball hoop net on red and blue panels. The backs carry a mail-in offer to purchase a Spalding basketball for $6.99. The cards are unnumbered and are checklisted below in alphabetical order. The cards were apparently only licensed by the NBA Players Association since there are no team logos or team markings anywhere on the cards. The set features early professional cards of Walter Davis and Bernard King. Variations of Nate Archibald, Julius Erving, and Walt Frazier cards are reported. They measure 2 1/4" by 9 1/2", have the mail-in offer beneath the picture, and are blank-backed.
