Why We're Making This Change
Demand for card grading has increased significantly. Every card entrusted to Beckett represents someone's collection, investment, or memory, and we take that responsibility seriously. To protect grading quality and estimated turnaround times, submissions for Base and Standard services are temporarily paused while our team focuses on existing orders and expands capacity.
What to Expect
- New online submissions for Base and Standard services are temporarily paused.
- Existing submissions will continue to be processed.
- Packages already in transit will be received and processed as usual.
- Express and Priority services will remain available.
- Limited Base and Standard service capacity may be available at select events.
- Customers can join the waitlist to receive service availability updates.
Expected Reopening
Beckett expects to begin reopening paused services on September 15.
This timing estimate is based on current operational progress. If the expected reopening date changes, the latest information will be published on this page.
When paused services return, availability will be managed on an ongoing basis to continue to align incoming volume with processing capacity and protect estimated turnaround times.
Event Availability
Limited drop-off availability may be available for Base and Standard services at select events during the temporary pause.
Current planned availability includes:
- Front Row Card Show Las Vegas: August 15-16
- Dallas Card Show: September 10-13
We will be in touch if anything changes with respect to our plans for these events. Event submissions will be subject to capacity and may become unavailable once the allotted volume has been reached. Specific availability and submission limits will be communicated prior to each event.
What We're Doing During the Pause
We're hiring, adding resources, and expanding operating hours across our grading operations to process current submissions. Additionally, software improvements and workstation enhancements have already been implemented to increase production. Our focus is improving estimated turnaround times as we continue expanding capacity, without compromising the grading quality and consistency collectors expect from Beckett.
