i can tell you guys from working out with albert. he is not on peds or roids. i happen to work out with him and his pt in kc every offseason. he is an animal in the weight room. hes really not greedy he puts that money into charities. he also has kids that have health related issues. he never got along with matheney when they played together. and on top of it the marlins offered more then the angels. his injuries and age are catching up to him. its hard to play 157 games a year when your in your 30's. he has always been consistent until hes gotten hit with injuries. not to mention its a guy thats just jealous taking a shot at albert. they test every single mlb guy for roids. and on top of it aroid admitted to taking them. Albert would have came out and said he took them by now if he did. ive asked him multiple times myself if he took them and he said no.

I sincerely hope he isn't. That would be a huge blow to the game! He's always kept his name clean, it's a shame that an old and bitter Jack Clark is throwing his name out there over some hearsay.

For the A's, the 36 mill/4 years on unproven talent is unheard of... Major "power-move" by Oakland/Beane-standards.

It's frustrating being an A's fan and collecting. For instance, several months ago I started a Grant Green mini-collection and then he was traded to the Angels. When we signed Yoenis my wife bought me his 2012 Tier 1 auto off of E-bay. I hadn't collected cards in 7 or 8 years... It was sparked from there! 110 different 2009/2012 Cespedes cards later, she now tells me all the time that she wishes she never bought that card hahahahahaha.

Local radio is already talking about if Beane will trade him in the off-season... As long as it's not in-division or to the Yanks/Bo-sox I'll probably still collect him after he leaves Oakland.

yea beane wont fork out money but i think it was to make some happy to move to the south bay. and i would say he was proven. the cuban series is no joke and he hit the most hr in a season ever. i love your story for collecting! good luck and id love to see some of the cards!!

ya i have a few autos. hes super nice. im a super collector of his cards and i had to sell some and it sucked because they dont just have a value but also a senaminal value

Steroids, no. I am more suspicious about his stated age, but I lean towards believing him on that point as well. Pujols might be greedy, but he's not a cheater. Jack Clark can stuff it. His radio show is irritating, not funny, and now he takes a shot at Pujols? I guess Clark is expecting a nation of disgruntled Cardinals fans to jump on his bandwagon and throw rocks at Pujols. Problem for Clark is that most (if not all) Cardinal fans are over the grief of losing a true champion, and only wish the best for Pujols. At least, that's how I feel about him. Hoping this story doesn't go viral.

I'm with you. I loved watching Pujols as a Cardnial and would hate to see this thing go viral and spark up rumors about him.
