Let me get this straight...You want to be taken as a serious Cowboy collector, but you don't have an Emmitt? let's put it this way, Dez is fairly unproven BECAUSE, he doesn't have a hof career, and he could go down tomorrow with a serious injury, Emmitt, on the other hand, even if he gets a serious injury, uh, he's still in the HOF and it won't affect his prices.

Dez-if he becomes a hof player, will be around for a while. No Cowboy collection would be complete with Emmitt, period.

Hey guys, i have alot of friends here and i need ya'lls honest opinion. I am in a supercollecting mode of Dez Bryant and I think i made a mistake going out and buying up his stuff too soon cause his bv's are plummeting since i bought some of his cards, lesson learned. I have never gone overboard on a rookie like this, ever. Teresa(Ripkenfan) helped me realize this in a thread i saw earlier. I am really wanting a few Emmitt Smith autos for my PC, cause frankly I dont have any, which is just plain sickening to me. If I were to spend $200- $250, should i go for some Emmitt's or after an Exquisite or NT DEZ. And if you havent seen some of those Dez cards, they are freakin unreal, especially the NT, but the BV doesnt justify it. The Exquisite does right now, but what is gonna happen to the BV in a couple months? I have seen EVERY true rc auto of DEZ drop at least 50% since the product was released. Any advice i would appreciate greatly, thanks!

i would ALWAYS go HOF before RC or auto...my reasoning is,the kid could step off the curb wrong this afternoon and END his short playing life...HOFer is in,done,great and solid. him getting hurt now only HELPS his value. for $250 i find a nice Emmitt /5 or /10 auto/patch...not a untested,might be good fella.... just me though.

Overall so far it has been what I expected and what I thought was right. Did like the Landry idea alot. I just need to find the right thing. Thnks for everyones input so far.

you are more than likely going to need to shell put $300+ for the Landry. mine was more than that, and i have one of the higher #ed ones. i know of a guy who has one /4 or something like that, but he wants atleast $500 on it
