Storage Unit Update Montana Style
I have posted a little bit about my storage locker raid on the football boards, but mostly on baseball because it was loaded with baseball stuff, but I just found my biggest football score so far.
I found a complete set of 1981 Topps, searched for the Montana, and found it. Here it is. It looks very sharp to me. I live by Beckett, so I thought about taking it in to get it graded. What do you guys think? I know it is hard to tell from pics, but the card looks just as sharp in person as it does in the scan.

Looks really good. I'd grade it if the surface is nice. The corners and the centering look really good.

I am definitely gonna take it in Monday. Should I use BGS or PSA? I can drive to Beckett, so that is why I have typically used them.

Nice Find. I would use Beckett over PSA if I were going to grade it. Cards looks good in the scan. Good Luck!
I build sets, collect Lou Brock & Jeremy Maclin. Both of my sons went to Kirkwood HS with Jeremy. I will also look at Kurt Warner, Big Ben and Old Big Red Auto's.

RE: Storage Unit Update Montana Style
looks really good....but the problem with older cards is usually the surface
if the surface is smooth get it graded for sure
and 100% use BGS
I have some 84-89 Topps cards graded....most of them have like 8-9 on everything except surface...and the surface is what always kills my grades.
So make sure to examine the surface very well...if it looks good...make sure you slab that bad boy.
