Either way nothing you can report.
I know of like 5 Rice collectors who bid on the bay. And I bet I can pick out their names in any given auction in which they have bid.

Kinda looks like this one guy who used to bid on the bay JrSoccer80 or something like that. HE was a Rice fan I have not seen him in awhile though.

Is this really considered shilling? I mean if you don't bid higher the person wins and will have to pay. I always thought shilling was building your own auctions up. Anyway, I think it's pretty simple for the most part....decide what you are willing to pay and bid that amount...if it goes for more at the last second by a "sniper" which I won't comment on....then wait for the next one.

Always looking for BGS or BVG graded cards for HOFers....especially the skilled positions.

Shilling is bumping a price of a card up.

If the OP thinks the person is bumping the price up to get back at him.

OP, have you noticed any bid retractions from the guy in any of the auctions? If so, then you are most likely right... he IS driving the prices up, then retracting one bid when he goes over your max bid.

I just stick to my cards I collect. Alot of times I see good investment cards and others guys I dont collect, but I leave them out there for other true fans to get. I got outbid bye 50 cents lastnight it stings but the card will come around again. Unless, its a 1/1 or /5, then its war lol jk. But, if someone is reaserching about other bidders, one you might miss out by wasting your time do all that, when you could be searching for a sweet card. Two, that would just be another down side to collecting, and we have enough already. Im with Bostonfan on this one, your prolly just having a bad streak, just keep trying there is no ways he will win every auction, its impossible!!

The bidder bidded up to my max. I upped my max bid just in case. The next 5 auctions (of the same player) he/she bidded the same amount having to know it wouldn't be high enough to win.

Sounds to me like he collects the same player as you and had a Specific amount to spend that day on a card. Once his Limit was reached he moved onto the next card. I doubt he was being Vindictive towards you.

Thank you everyone for your feedback. I'll be watching though when I bid.
