2015 Leaf Ultimate Draft Baseball Details
With its Metal and Trinity lines, Leaf takes prospecting to a place of more modern design tastes. And while firmly in the present, 2015 Leaf Ultimate Draft Baseball is more on the traditional side as far as overall look goes. But that’s not to say some changes haven’t been made.
Boxes come with seven cards, all of which are on-card autographs.
Base autographs and the majority of the inserts in 2015 Leaf Ultimate Draft Baseball use etched foil for lettering and accents. Other than a light background element, cards are left largely white.
Signers are a mix of recent draft picks, prospects and players from the international scene.
In addition to base Ultimate Autographs, there are a couple of themed inserts. Big Hitter spotlights some of the top offensive players in the product. Armed and Dangerous centers on pitchers. These all have multiple parallels that use different color foil.
Clear Autographs, traditionally part of Trinity Baseball, have moved over to Ultimate Draft. These use clear plexiglass-like stock. Besides basic versions, select high school players are included in Perfect Game Clear Autographs. Clear cards also have parallels of varying quantities.
