2015 Panini National Treasures Football opens the high-end chest
By Ryan Cracknell | Hobby Editor
Big patches, big-name signatures and a big price tag — it’s all part of 2015 Panini National Treasures Football, one of the most premium gridiron products of the year. While there has been more competition in the super high-end space in recent years, this is one of the brands that continues to carry some of the most clout.
Boxes have eight cards including three autographs and three memorabilia cards.

A big reason for the brand’s popularity over the years? The Rookie Autograph Patch cards. These rank among players’ top rookie cards, if not the top, if you’re going from a strictly value standpoint. For 2015 Panini National Treasures Football, they’re once again numbered to 99. Signatures are on-card and the patches are big. Parallels include one-of-one tags, logos and shields.
Like the RPA cards, the the base set is also numbered to 99 with parallels coming in even lower. Base cards and parallels combine to land two per box.
While the regular base cards might have an elegant look, they’re not what drive people to National Treasures. Those buying boxes or joining breaks are more than likely looking for the signatures and premium memorabilia.
Notable Nicknames and Personalized Treasures, both numbered to 25 or less, have a bit more of a personal touch with inscriptions joining the autograph.
Treasure Chest is for those looking for quantity. These open up into a large four-piece book card and have either 12 signatures or 24 pieces of memorabilia.
Sticking with the book card theme, albeit slimmed down, is Draft Treasures Signature Booklet. These have autographs and memorabilia from a pair of 2015 rookies. Base versions are numbered to 25. Parallels comine in Prime (/10), Brand Logos (/2), Laundry Tags (1/1) and NFL Shields (1/1).
Two of the NFL’s most storied franchises, the Pittsburgh Steelers and Dallas Cowboys, are featured in their own hit-based inserts. Steel Curtain and America’s Team have autographs and memorabilia from the past and present of both teams.
Leather and Lace return with large pieces of player-used footballs. The laces are showing, making them thick and providing plenty of texture.

I hope Mariota didn’t write “2015 Heisman,” considering he won it in 2014…
Pretty excited about this release especially with this year’s rookie class… Does anyone know if they are doing Flawless this year?
I hope they ONLY do the $750.00/+ products………SO EVERYONE CAN AFFORD IT !!!!!!
[ That’s a per box/pack price point……NOT per case
:-]
:-)
On the 1 of 1 Tom Brady Colossal Jersey/Auto card that is displayed here, it reads “Broncos” on the right side .. C’mon Now !!! Isn’t this a $500/600 box with just 8 cards !! Let’s get the teams right Panini !! I’m assuming that is why it’s 1 of 1 lol ..
Either way, excellent looking product, I really like the looks of the Leather & Lace …
It’s a mock-up, not a final card.
MMMMMM….that 12 way QB auto is a beauty
Leather and Lace looks cool, evolving the idea first set by Playoff Inc in 2000.
so a player charges $xxx/per auto……..my understanding is that prices don’t fluctuate based on each product/items being signed. Why the HUGE difference on some products vs others ???????????????
Dallas’ players have over 150 different Americas Team cards among the card companies including Topps, Upper Deck and Panini. I hope Panini will have cards less expensive coming out without the autos as other companies have? Anyone know how many different ATeam cards there are in this group coming out March 23rd?
