2016-17 Panini Mosaic Prizm Basketball Details
Some customers that purchased boxes of 2015-16 Panini Replay will receive an added bonus in the form of the new 2016-17 Panini Mosaic Prizm Basketball.
For each box of Replay that a collector purchased, they will receive an as of yet unspecified amount of 2016-17 Panini Mosaic Prizm packs. Each pack will contain three cards and there are 10 packs per box.
A collection featuring 100 base cards, it will have different photography than the regular 2016-17 Panini Prizm release and contain both veterans and rookies. The 2016-17 Panini Mosaic Prizm base set will have five different parallels. Red and Blue cards are not numbered, but the Camo (/25), Gold (/10), and Black (one-of-one) will be.
One in three boxes should also deliver one of 28 different autograph cards. The partial checklist revealed on Panini’s official blog appears to have some strong rookies and vets, including Stephen Curry, Anthony Davis, and Kevin Durant. There is a basic version for each along with Gold and Black parallels.
If a collector or dealer has purchased boxes of 2015-16 Panini Replay, they should consult the party they purchased it from in order to claim or reserve their packs of 2016-17 Panini Mosaic Prizm. Panini has noted that boxes are to start shipping to distributors and direct hobby shops on March 1, 2017.
