Did You Get the 2016 Topps Now Christmas Card?
By Ryan Cracknell | Hobby Editor
As collectors, many of us get cards in the mail year round. However, this is the time when cards are a dominant part of the postal landscape as people share holiday greetings. A special 2016 Topps Now Christmas card is bringing some collectors a little unexpected cheer this season.
The 2016 Topps Now Christmas card begins with a branded greeting card that thanks collectors for their business. It reads,
Thank you for joining the Topps Now family in 2016!
We look forward to an exciting 2017 and wish you a joyous holiday season.
Best wishes,
The Topps Company
Also enclosed is an exclusive 2016 Topps Now Baseball Highlights card. Featured on it are four of the most popular players in the program’s debut year (at least those not named Bartolo): Kris Bryant, David Ortiz, Ichiro and Gary Sanchez.
It appears as thought the Topps Now Christmas card was sent to all collectors who ordered cards through the print-on-demand program.
For those who didn’t receive one, plenty are being sold on eBay.

Dang it! How much do I have to buy to get one of those? Still have not gotten my Cubs World Series team set either.
I got mine Saturday. It was an unexpected surprise-to which my wife replied…”well, of course- you’re on their mailing list!”. Despite her reaction, I was happy to get the card and the Christmas card. I remember in the 1990’s getting “Santa Claus” game used cards from Upper Deck for a few years in a row, so this brought back memories of those cards. Nice for companies to do something a little above and beyond once in a while!!!!
I received one! Nice gesture from Topps. Now if they would only replace the defective Topps Now card I’ve been waiting for since late August.
I probably purchased a half-dozen Topps NOW cards directly from Topps and a bunch of others on the secondary market. I didn’t get multiple cards, just one and I’m fine with that. I appreciate the great customer relations move. But does anyone know how many separate customers bought Topps NOW cards directly from Topps? Wouldn’t that give us the print run on this card? Or did some buyers of extraordinary numbers of cards get more than a single card?
I received one as well. A nice gesture.
Topps has me so jaded that I thought they sent me a note that they wouldn’t be able to fulfill an order of mine from a year ago. The biggest surprise is that Topps didn’t try to sell this. Really, this is the least they could do after compromising customer’s credit card info.
When did the credit card situation occur? Was it through the Topps site?
September. Definitely the Topps site. Only place I used that particular credit card.
Its was an unexpected and nice surprise. Thank you Topps.
