2017-18 Upper Deck Hockey Centennial Standouts Variations Gallery
The 2017-18 Upper Deck Hockey Centennial Standouts variations offer an alternate photo for some of the NHL’s all-time greats.
With the regular version already big at 100 cards, the extremely rare SSP versions add a certain elusive Easter egg element. According to the initial sales info for the set, 2017-18 Upper Deck Centennial Standouts variations were slated to be 1:1,000 hobby packs. However, they were not included on the final 2017-18 Upper Deck Series 1 Hockey checklist sent out by the company. This would put them in line with other surprise elements from the past, such as Day with the Cup, now a brand staple.
By not having the Centennial Standouts variations on the checklist, it also means that it’s currently not known if the short print versions cover the entire insert set or just a portion of it.
Centennial Standouts celebrates some of the best players to ever lace up in the 100-year history of the NHL. That means an expansive list of players from several generations. It also acts as a showcase of sorts to show how the league has evolved.
To help you in your quest of looking for 2017-18 Upper Deck Hockey Centennial Standouts variations, here’s a gallery that shows you what they look like. We will continue to add to it as more cards are confirmed.

I have a different Lemieux… what could that be?
@Nico — Are all the card numbers the same? Many players have multiple base CS cards.
@Ryan yes, the card number is CS-75
Thanks
I have a Mike Bossy
I have a Red Kelly cs-54 variation i believe
Has anyone recieved a standouts card that has been misprinted? I have the Crosby “white jersey” centennial standout and the logo is half cut and the printing is quite off. Is this a rarity or just a screw up?
@Niko — It sounds like a printing mistake.
