The 2019 Topps Heritage Baseball Chrome Mega Box is a special configuration of the main product that’s exclusive to Walmart stores. And with it comes an expansion to the main set’s checklist.
The 2019 Topps Heritage Chrome Mega Boxes includes new Chrome inserts not available in regular hobby or retail packs. It also has some Clubhouse Collection variations, making the relic checklist bigger as well.
2019 Topps Heritage Baseball Chrome Mega Box Exclusives
Like the name of the box suggests, the Chrome cards are the main draw of the new configuration. A total of 100 new Heritage Chrome cards are available at a rate of three per box.
Base versions are numbered to 999, mimicking other 2019 Topps Heritage Chrome inserts. Parallels for the Mega Box exclusives come in Refractors (/570), Black Refractors (/70) and Superfractors (1/1).
The boxes may be a little confusing. The front of the Mega Boxes make it sound as though the Chrome exclusives are numbers 100 through 200. While many fall in this range, not all of them do. They come from throughout the set. This refers to the broader expansion of the Heritage Chrome checklist expanding from 100 cards to 200.
Names on the Clubhouse Collection Variations are in the main set as well. While these new cards do have different photos, the numbering on the back is an easier giveaway. Variations found in the Chrome Mega Boxes use ‘ECCR-‘ as a prefix. Regular Clubhouse Collection Relics use just ‘CCR-.’ The Clubhouse Collection Variations have Gold parallels that are numbered to 99.
2019 Topps Heritage Baseball Chrome Mega Boxes also come with 15 regular retail packs of Heritage.

i just purchased a couple of 2019 heritage mega boxes and i received a heritage chrome brandon belt(#d 999 and 570) and a heritage chrome corey seager black (#d 70)….but neither card is listed in beckett’s pricing scheme.is it because these are newly released heritage chrome cards that aren’t available in regular hobby or retail channels?
@paul – The Mega Boxes just came out so it’ll take a bit for the pricing team to compile data.
