2018 Topps Walking Dead: Road to Alexandria Trading Cards Take a Long Stroll
Peace has never been a part of The Walking Dead. Some episodes act as a calm, but there’s always a big bad or a swarm of walkers on the edge of the horizon. 2018 Topps Walking Dead: Road to Alexandria trading cards recap all seven seasons of the show, framing it around the Alexandria safe zone.
The configuration is similar to that of other seasonal sets with hobby boxes promising an autograph and one additional premium insert. Regular inserts and parallels are also plentiful.
Base Set
The 2018 Topps Walking Dead: Road to Alexandria base set has 100 cards. It’s a greatest hits of sorts (no Lucille pun intended), highlighting key moments and storylines from seven seasons’ worth of episodes.
Like many of Topps’ Walking Dead releases, packs have a steady flow of parallels. Each hobby pack includes a Rust card. Other numbered parallels include Blue (/50), Mold (/25), Sepia (/10), Black and White (/5) and Blood Red (1/1).
Autographs and Memorabilia Cards
Signed cards land at least one per hobby box. Given the scope of the product, it opens the checklist up to a lot of potential signers versus a set that’s season-specific. A list of signers has not been released.
Autograph parallels come in Rust (/99), Blue (/50), Mold (/25), Sepia (/10), Black and White (/5), Printing Plates (1/1) and Blood Red (1/1).
2018 Topps Walking Dead: Road to Alexandria also has rare Dual and Triple Autographs.
On the memorabilia side, Costume Relics have swatches of wardrobe embedded in them. Parallels are the same as Autographs except there are no Printing Plates.
Premium relics include Dual Costume, Autographed Costume and Dual Autographed Costume cards.
Additional Inserts
Like parallels, regular inserts fall one per hobby pack. 2018 Topps Walking Dead: Road to Alexandria has four general themes. Characters highlight the key faces from the first seven seasons while Factions is all about groups.
Walker Hall of Fame highlights some of the most memorable zombie moments.
Finally, there’s Better Days, spotlighting those rare happy moments experienced by Rick and company.
Sketch cards are also randomly inserted.

I Have a autographed Carl Grimes with the sanctuary patch. Its numbered to 5 and i cant find anything online about it
Are all the box sets for The Walking Dead Road to Alexandria the same card set. Because I bought a box at the has Michonne and Rick on the cover and then I bought another one that has Michonne and Negan on the cover and both sets of the same exact card set
@Tommy – There was only one Road to Alexandria release so all of the cards inside would be from the same series.
