Behind the Scenes at the 2019 NFLPA Rookie Premiere
The 25th Annual NFLPA Rookie Premiere presented by Panini America is a wrap. Coinciding with the 100th season of the NFL, an elite group of 40 rookies descended on the Los Angeles area for a weekend that launched their professional endorsement careers.
The rookies stepped into their full NFL uniforms for the first time, and created lasting relationships with each other and many NFLPA partners. Panini snapped thousands of photos and gathered thousands of autographs for 2019 products.
Cards that were hand-signed will release in up-coming brands such as Luminance, Elements, National Treasures Collegiate, Flawless Collegiate, Immaculate Collection Collegiate, Origins and online-exclusive Instant Access. By far, the most popular cards among the rookies were the metal elements cards, signed in different color ink.
Panini Instant designed cards of the rookies in their NFL uniforms, well, instantly on Saturday. Autographed Instant Access cards were also available over the weekend on their website. On Friday, the guys from Ultimate Box Breaks provided a live preview of the new 2019 Panini Legacy. Saturday brought a full day of photo shoots at the historic Rose Bowl Stadium. More live box breaks took place with many rookies participating.
