2020 Onyx Nimbus Baseball Details
2020 Onyx Numbus Baseball builds off the company’s earlier Vintage sets. The prospect and autograph focuses are still at the forefront, however this time there’s a metallic spin.
Hobby boxes have just four cards, however, two of them have signatures.
2020 Onyx Nimbus Baseball Checklist Overview
The 2020 Nimbus checklist isn’t a huge one. Clocking in with around 50 players, there’s a heavier concentration of top prospects — and a couple of young MLB standouts. Jasson Dominguez, Wander Franco, Julio Rodriguez, Heston Kjerstad and Adley Rutschman are among the key minor leaguers.
There’s also a handful of international players who haven’t signed with major league club yet. These include Cristian Hernande, Carlos Colmenarez, Roderick Arias, Celesten Felnin and Miguel Bleis.
For those who don’t keep up with minor league ball, Ronald Acuna Jr. and Pete Alonso should be familiar.
Nimbus cards have the same general layout as 2020 Onyx Vintage. However, the change to premium metallic stock is a big difference in the overall presentation.
Base autographs are numbered to 325. Additional parallels include Gold (/50), Black (/25), and Red (/5).
