2022 Topps MLB All-Star Art Collection Checklist and Details
The 2022 Topps MLB All-Star Art Collection brings back a couple of Project70 artists for some new cards to coincide with the Midsummer Classic in Los Angeles.
DJ Skee and Gregory Siff both did two cards for the limited edition set, which is available through July 22 or while supplies last on the Topps website.
Skee’s cards have a couple of players from Los Angeles teams, Mookie Betts of the Dodgers and Angels superstar Mike Trout. Like many of his Project70 cards, Skee draws from album covers for inspiration. Here, it’s Guns N’ Roses’ Use Your Illusion I and Use Your Illusion II.
Siff sticks with New York for his two cards, Yankees slugger Aaron Judge and two-time reigning Home Run Derby champ Pete Alonso of the Mets.
All four cards are limited to 2,500 copies. However, each also has several parallels that are randomly sent with orders:
- Rainbow Foil – /499
- Silver Cracked Ice – /199
- Blue Cracked Ice – /99
- Red Cracked Ice – /20
- Silver Lava – /10
- Gold Lava – 1/1
According to Topps, parallels replace base cards and aren’t an added bonus.
Individual cards are $22 while a bundle with a complete set is $78.
