2022 Topps x Juan Soto Baseball is a collaboration between the young superstar and the card maker. The set touches on themes that connect to Soto and some of his accomplishments thus far. He also had a hand in picking the players and designs.

Available exclusively through the Topps website, 25-card boxes promise a pair of parallels numbered to 99 or less. Autographs are on the checklist as well, although not guaranteed in every box.

2022 Topps x Juan Soto Baseball Checklist Overview

This is a fairly simple set. The base set has 68 total cards, which are divided up into seven different subsets:

  • Homeland Inspirations (#1-9)
  • Bright Futures (#10-23)
  • The Showdown (#24-32)
  • Debry Dynamos (#33-39)
  • Bestias del Juego (#40-50)
  • Postseason Moments (#51-59)
  • Calling Cards (#60-68)

The two-per-box parallels come in six levels: Silver (/99), Green (/75), Orange (/22), Blue (/19), Red (/5) and Gold (1/1).

Almost half of the players in the product have autographs. For Soto, these come with on-card ink. Others use stickers and a design similar to the base set.

Do you know why the copyright and symbol (icon/logos) at bottom right are different on these cards?
Some say “Cooperstown Collection” and others say “MLB Players”.

My guess is that the Cooperstown cards are retired players and MLB Players are the current ones. They fall under different licensing agreements.

I have an orange border Homeland inspirations Sammy Sosa auto numbered 1/5 . What are the odds of hitting this and the value, I can’t find any like it for value wise. Thanks
