2023-24 Upper Deck Premier Hockey represents one of the sports biggest when it comes to super-premium cards. It’s not quite The Cup, but it is on the elite tier just below it. Four of the six cards in every hobby box are hits: one autographed patch card, another autograph and two memorabilia cards. More than that, the checklist has lots of on-card ink and high-end patch pieces.
2023-24 Upper Deck Premier Hockey Checklist Overview
The base set is a modest 150 cards covering the game’s past, present and future. The first 90 players are vets and come numbered to 299. They’re followed by 10 retired greats that have just 99 copies. The final 50 cards are rookies numbered to 399.
Veteran and Legends parallels include Gold (/65, Legends /25), Ruby (/35, Legends /15) and Platinum (1/1). It gets bigger for Rookies with Bronze (/199), Gold (/65), Ruby (/49), Rose Gold (/25), Purple (/10) and Platinum (1/1).

Autographed Memorabilia Cards
With one autographed patch card in every hobby box, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that there are multiple styles to hunt.
Acetate Rookie Auto Patch cards may be the most popular. Depending on the player, these are numbered to either 249 or 99 with additional Gold parallels that have no more than 65 copies each. Some players also have Horizontal variations (/99 or less).
Acetate Veteran Auto Patch inserts take a similar approach with more established names. The production numbers for these are also smaller with no more than 49 copies each.
Additional signature swatch themes include 2023 Rookie Auto Jersey (/99 or less), 2003-24 Rookie Auto Patch (/99 or les), Flourishing Talent Auto Patch (/99), Global Notability Auto Jersey (/50), and Premier Focus Auto Patch, all of which are numbered.
Additional Autographs and Memorabilia Cards
Among the autograph-only inserts in 2023-24 Upper Deck Premier Hockey is Exemplary Stamps. Base versions are among the toughest cards in the product with just 10 copies each. One-of-one Gold is the lone parallel.
On the Forefront Autographs (/125), Premier Focus Auto, and Premier Precipice Auto (1:10 packs) are among the other places to find ink on the checklist.
Premier’s various Mega memorabilia cards are among the most popular in the sport. Arriving with jumbo swatches, versions include Jersey Duos (/49), Patch Duos (/25), Jersey Trios (/25), Patch Trios (/15), Jersey Quads (/15), Patch Quads (/5), Chest Logos, Commemorative Logos, Shoulder Logos, and Sleeve Numbers.
Rookie Patch-Taculars, both single and dual versions, use oversized pieces of chest logos and have 25 copies each. Parallels include Gold Shoulder Logo (/5) and Black Adidas Logo (1/1).
Besides their signed versions, Global Notoriety (1:10 packs) and On the Forefront (/199) have standard jersey versions along with premium parallels.
