2023 Topps Gilded Collection Baseball marks the second season for the Topps Chrome spinoff. While there’s some familiarity in the base design, the configuration is much more high-end. Hobby boxes include just five cards, two of which are autographs. And of those autographs, one is of the framed variety.
2023 Topps Gilded Collection Baseball Checklist Overview
The 150-card base set uses 2023 Topps Chrome Baseball as its starting point as far as layout goes. However, there’s added intricacies in the background and a gold theme. Every base card is also a Refractor and comes serial numbered to just 99 copies.
Parallels include:
- Wave Gold Etch – /75
- Mini-Diamond Gold Etch – /50
- RayWave Gold Etch – /25
- Lava Gold Etch – /10
Cast in Gold Variations (/199) offer a different — and more plentiful — look at select rookies.
The first autograph in each box is surrounded with a gold frame. These are packaged separately from the remaining four cards, which come in a traditional pack.
Cooperstown inductees is the theme for Gold Framed Hall of Famer Autographs. These have Rose Gold (/50), Emerald (/25), Onyx (/10), Ruby (/5) and Platinum (1/1) parallels.
Gallery of Gold Autographs is the other place to find frames. While these have no Rose Gold versions, the other parallels match the HOF cards.
Framed Cut Signatures are also part of the checklist. These are all one-of-ones.
Topps Chrome Gold Etch Autographs round out the product. Base versions come numbered. So are the five levels of parallels: Yellow (/75), Blue (/50), Rose Gold (/25), Red (/5) and Superfractors (1/1).

I wish Topps could get us some Barry Bonds auto’s. I mean we have Conseco and Mcgwire auto’s, why not Barry? The steroids thing is a joke these days, ball players are doing MUCH MUCH WORSE things these days.
Topps had him in their products not that long ago. 2016 Topps Transcendent comes to mind. It’s likely that the two sides can’t agree on a financial number for something more longterm and nothing to do with the past.
I see. Thank you Ryan
When will the checklist come out? I can’t find one anywhere.
