2024 Panini Prospect Edition Baseball offers up a new line for many of the sport’s top up-and-comers. It’s an autograph-heavy checklist that includes some familiar elements from other places.
Hobby boxes promise six signatures plus a dozen inserts and parallels.
2024 Panini Prospect Edition Baseball Checklist Overview
Panini and prospects are nothing new when it comes to baseball cards. Elite Extra Edition and Prizm Draft Picks are a couple of recent entries from the company’s portfolio. In fact, all of their baseball products from the past couple of years have been heavy on minor leaguers. Most of these have a high concentration of past stars as well, though.
Autographs come in a few different forms. Among them are Franchise Futures and Future Legends that appear to come with on-card ink.
College Ties Dual Autographs bring together two players from the same school.
Although the don’t fall under the Contenders banner, Prospect Edition does have an assortment of Prospect Tickets that keep with the design theme. Base versions and parallels from these are six per hobby box (approximately one per pack).
Prospect Tickets also get the signature treatment.
Kaboom, one of Panini’s most popular inserts, appears on the Prospect Edition checklist as well.
