Bill Mazeroski’s walkoff home run in Game 7 of the 1960 World Series is still the only Game 7 walkoff home run in history, the “We Are Family” Pirates of 1979 were led by the slugging veteran Willie Stargell, and, of course, the most iconic player in Pirates’ history was Roberto Clemente.
