Our next Beckett Sports Card Monthly is one of our favorites — and apparently one of yours, too — The Autograph Issue.

6bBryant2013

It’s the one time a year where we aim to explore the one thing that seemingly every collector can appreciate and a subject that can generate a lot of opinions at times, too.

How? Just bring up these two words … sticker autographs.

Here is our latest batch of 20 Questions — tell us what you think with the questions below and raise a few of your own at the end if you’d like. The results here will appear in the next magazine as they do in every month.

1. Did you like the way Topps distributed its 2013 Kris Bryant autos this year?

I think there is a age too old to be asking for autographs in some situations. During pre-game warmups with adults 30+ years old mixed in with kids and teens along the dugout/outfield railing, I think it is creepy asking for autos. That’s a big reason I don’t get autos pre-game from my minor league team players because I feel like I would be a creep among the kids.

I don’t think there is a problem with 30+ aged adults getting autos at card shows, local athlete appearances at retail stores or malls, or when my minor league team has a organized pre-game autograph session promotion where fans are encouraged to get autos.

One question, why are you asking “US” some of these questions that you have the answers to?
You obviously have a fairly good idea of how many certified autos are out there for the players.
And you already know Ruben “Hurricane ” Carter had the signed autographs in the Leaf Ali products.

for #20 announcers auto’s…I voted no, but that was because I don’t want it to be my “hit” when opening a box. If they want to throw them in as “extras”, then I’m fine with it.

Very interesting how pretty even the votes are (at least from when I voted). As always, I enjoy the polls!

I enjoyed the poll but think press pass should have been listed in the question who makes the best certified autographs.

I love me some racing autographs as evidenced by my unsuccesfull autograph super collector submission lol

From Olds: Press Pass has been added.
