Beckett Reveals 2015 Spring Expo Plans
Collectors attending the 49th Sportcard & Memorabilia Expo in Toronto this weekend will have an opportunity to visit Beckett Media at its booth in the corporate area and take advantage of the many specials on magazines, books and raw card grading that are available for attendees.
First and foremost, all of the current issues of our core titles will be on sale for $10 US or $12 CDN. The titles included are Beckett Hockey, Beckett Baseball, Beckett Basketball, Beckett Football and Beckett Sports Card Monthly; but there is also special pricing ($5 US/$6 CDN) on several special titles like Hockey’s Greatest Goalies and Hockey’s Impact Rookies.
What else does Beckett have in store for visitors at the Expo? Find out after the jump.
Beckett will also have all of its annual books on hand and is offering a show discount of $10 off the Canadian cover price (applicable to either currency). Among the titles for sale are the Baseball Almanac, Baseball Price Guide, Football Card Price Guide, Graded Card Price Guide, Hockey Price Guide and many more. It should be noted that we will have a very limited supply of the Graded Card Price Guide and Baseball Almanac. Please come early if you wish to pick up those titles. Additionally, package pickup is available if you don’t want to carry the books around during the day. However, the books must be prepaid and picked up the same day.
Once again, Beckett Grading Services will be in attendance at the Expo and will be offering raw card grading. For orders of one to five cards, we are offering show pricing of $13 CDN/$10 US and larger orders receive a price break as follows: 6-50 cards ($11 CDN/$8 US), 51-99 cards ($10 CDN/$7 US) or 100+ cards ($9 CDN/$6 US). Please note that autograph fees remain at $2 per customer (regardless of currency) and that all credit card charges will be processed as US funds in addition to being charged at the US rate. Also, all onsite orders must be picked up at the Beckett booth by 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 3 as we will need to leave the show early due to travel schedules.
For nearly 25 years, hockey collectors from all over the world have flocked to the semi-annual show and this time, our booth has some new features that will appeal to hobbyists and dealers in attendance. Stop by to receive information about bidding or consigning with Beckett Auctions while dealers and collectors can also come by to find out how to join Beckett Business Solutions. This is a perfect way to increase both your sales and customer base and our staff on hand will be happy to present you with further details.
Finally, be sure to keep an eye open for Derek Ficken on Beckett Radio, who will be at the Expo doing interviews from the floor while show veteran and Beckett Hockey Editor Stephen Laroche is also available to meet with collectors and talk about the hobby.
