Dallas Mavericks Hold Multi-Game Card Giveaway

Fans in Dallas that have attended games in recent weeks have been treated to five special giveaway nights featuring special Panini NBA Hoops trading cards and they completed their sets on Thursday night as the Mavericks hosted the Houston Rockets.
Each three card pack that was given away contained two special 2014-15 NBA Hoops cards of a current Mavs player along with one special Moments of Greatness card celebrating the career of the legendary Dirk Nowitzki and the 15-card set will be completed with the next promotional event. The company has also teased that a 16th card of Amar’e Stoudemire is also possible and details on it will be announced soon.

The set was distributed in the following manner:
March 10 – Tyson Chandler, Charlie Villanueva, Dirk Nowitzki: 1998 NBA Draft
March 16 – Chandler Parsons, J.J. Barea, Dirk Nowitzki: 2006-07 NBA MVP
March 20 – Rajon Rondo, Devin Harris, Dirk Nowitzki: 2011 NBA Finals MVP
March 24 – Monta Ellis, Richard Jefferson, Dirk Nowitzki: First All-Star Appearance
April 2 – Dirk Nowitzki, Al-Farouq Aminu, Dirk Nowitzki: 25,000 Point Club
It should be noted that all of the photos used on the Hoops cards are different from the regular set. In the case of Villanueva, this is his first trading card this season.
