Drake Lands a Michael Jordan RC in His First Pack of 1986-87 Fleer Basketball
Drake’s quest for the 2020-21 Panini Flawless Triple Logoman LeBron James continued on Sunday night. First, though, the singer busted a box of 1986-87 Fleer Basketball as an appetizer. In his first pack? A Michael Jordan Rookie Card. It wasn’t the last one he would find.

It came as a part of a large break that the singer was doing live on Instagram with Ken Goldin. Ten cases of Flawless were the main event, but there was also the box of 1986-87 Fleer, 2003-04 Topps Chrome Basketball and a couple of other products.
By the time the box of Fleer was done, Drake and Goldin pulled three Jordan RCs and three of the stickers.
The iconic set has a relatively small checklist of just 132 cards and 11 stickers. Boxes have 36 packs of 12 cards and one sticker.
Drake made his Triple Logoman LeBron hunt public recently. He’s already bought 14 boxes of 2020-21 Panini Flawless (seven cases) before this.
The checklist has five total Triple Logomans. One featuring Giannis Antetokounmpo, Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant was pulled by Layton Sports Cards during a break earlier in March.
Yes. We did in fact pull this card last night during a #casebreak of @PaniniAmerica Flawless @nba and yes, it was pulled by the one and only Breaking Brad. #BOOM pic.twitter.com/acGI5fEc0J

I know it is probably considered sacrilegious by many people, but those triple Logoman cards are extremely ugly. I would have ABSOLUTELY no desire to own one. The players are just such a tiny part of the card. I just don’t get the appeal at all.
I used to have an amazing collection of sports cards! It doesn’t come close to your collection, but they meant the world to me. I spent the 1st 23 years of my life building a collection that included Cal Ripken Jr.’s rookie card, more than one of Kobe’s Rookie Card’s, & my most prized possession was the rookie card of my favorite idol of time… Michael Jordan! I had over 450 MJ cards, along with 6 photos the were autographed personally by “His Airness”! Unfortunately, when I was away @ECU for college, my youngest sister had a B-day get together at my parents house, & someone stole my entire collection. A collection I had spent a lifetime collecting. Just thinking about it makes me sick! All the years of time, money, research, & effort I put into building that collection to just be gone in a blink of an eye. What hurts more is all the birthdays & Christmas’s that my mom would go out of her way to find specific MJ cards that were hard to find, & really cost more than she could afford. However, I know it was worth it to her bc of the happiness I could see all over her face bc she was seeing the excitement on mine! Today, my mom has Dementia, & missing all those cards that symbolize how much she loved me, & it breaks my heart. Thank you for allowing me to share this?
Like he needs them…
Does anybody really need any cards?
