2013 Bowman Sterling Baseball Details
As usual for the line, 2013 Bowman Sterling Baseball is a high-end prospecting brand that caters to those collectors wanting a little more bang for their buck.
As in three autographs in every single $50 pack.
Sterling includes six packs per box with one rookie or prospect in every pack along with three autographs — a combo of signed rookies and prospects, dual autos, Sterling Showcase and autographed Sterling Showcase cards.
Each 2013 Bowman Sterling Baseball base card has seven Refractor parallels and a set of printing plates to chase. The same applies to the prospect inserts. These include: Refractor (/199), Gold (/50), Blue (/25), Purple (/10), Canary (/3) and 1/1 Super and Reds. Printing plates, of course, will also be four 1/1s.
The autographed rookie offerings will also come with several parallels — 10 Refractors and also printing plates. These will be Refractor (/150), Green (/125), Ruby (/99), Orange (/75), Gold (/50), Blue (/25), Purple (/10), Canary (/3) and 1/1 Red, Super and plates. The autographed prospects will have the same configuration.
New this year are Sterling Blue Sapphire Signings (/50) cards. These represent the best rookies and prospects of the year. These come with Ruby (/25) and Super (1/1) parallels.
The last inclusion in this one is Sterling Auto Showcase cards, which will showcase top prospects of the year. They are limited to just 25 copies apiece with a 1/1 Sterling Silver parallel.
