Mars Attacks: Occupation comic coming in 2016

Mars Attacks is more than just cards. The Tim Burton movie is probably the best-known spin off, but there have also been several comic series.
Mars Attacks: Occupation is on tap for a March, 2016 release from IDW Publishing.
The new miniseries branches out from the 2015 Topps Mars Attacks: Occupation trading cards. This is the product that was sold exclusively on Kickstarter in the spring and is scheduled to come out before the end of the year.
The Mars Attacks: Occupation comic is being written by John Layman, who has written for the line before. Andy Kuhn is providing the artwork while Ryan Brown and John McCrea are doing covers.
The story follows young Ruby Johnson, a young lady living on Earth after it has been ack-ed into submission by Martians that look nothing like Matt Damon.
Covers for the comics are planned to be done in the style of the original cards.
