Texas’ Jurickson Profar is the second Bowman Lucky redemption
By Chris Olds | Beckett Baseball Edior
It’s no longer a mystery who will appear on the second 2013 Bowman Lucky Redemption card.
It’s Texas Rangers infielder Jurickson Profar, who is making his season debut tonight with the Rangers against visiting Oakland.
Profar was hitting .273 with four home runs, 19 RBI and six stolen bases for at Triple-A Round Rock before his promotion. He was Baseball America‘s No. 1 prospect entering this season.
Profar already appears on 321 different baseball cards in the Beckett database (click here for a checklist and OPG) with 67 of them being certified autographs. Not including rarities, they are valued at more than $5,438. The card won’t be tagged as an RC since it’s an insert, but Profar does appear on seven Rookie Cards so far this season.
The shortstop’s card, according to Topps will be a Blue Sapphire Refractor card with a new photo as well as an on-card signature.
