Wow, that email is pretty galling. Why pay double the price for a product that has many many flaws? This place is going to be a ghost town, way to go Beckett!

Funny thing is that I go to check my ORG and it comes up with the screen to pay only $19.95 for ORG. In fact I went through the entire process all the way to putting in my CC info and the entire time it says $19.95 with no option for a monthly subscription.
I would think that if they are changing their rates they would update their website to reflect that. Of course that would mean updating their website. Maybe they are trying to do a last minute scare to get people to pay the $19.95 now before the rate goes up at any moment.

Zistle everyone, it works, it's free and is way better than the product Beckett offers. Google sheets is nice as well for building your own database, handy in creating your own wantlists and can be used nicely to create your own google site and doesn't require any real technical computer expertise.

Is there any way to import your collections from here? maybe transfer to excel first?

I just uploaded some stuff and I do remember seeing an option to import. I like what I see so far. Still a little confusing, but I'm sure I'll get used to it. There doesn't appear to be any sort of Discussion board presence though. It seems to be a well thought out site at least so far. I still prefer beckett's org but I'm getting old and fear change.

There are forums under the "Community" menu. I'm sure forum activity will grow if more members from here join there. I know I just set up an account with Zistle after seeing all the references to it here. I look forward to using it in the future, but probably won't do much with it for the next few months.

I don't need an organize tool for my collection as I've always had thorough Excel spreadsheets. I created them more than a decade ago, probably a couple years before Beckett established their first version of the Organize tool. However, over the past six to nine months, I started using this site and the Organize to trade, and I've really enjoyed that. I know I can just go on any message board and trade with people, but I've really come to depend on Beckett's trade tool and feedback system. My subscription runs out in three days and if my collection gets deleted, I am going to try out Zistle.

They "extended" the deadline a week, which would have meant that today is when it cutoff. The only news I saw today was the increase in price and monthly option for ORG, though the website still shows the price as $19.95. I checked my ORG earlier today and while I couldn't access it, I did see that the subfolders all appeared to still be there.
