You know it's time to quit the hobby when...

RE: You know it's time to quit the hobby when...
I mean, Topps and Panini could help themselves out by A) going back to the $19.99 price point that the majority of their blasters were for years in Panini's case and decades in Topps' case and B) gasp, more importantly, adding the content back in that we used to get at that price point.

Case in point - relative to the times, I was thrilled to pull a Tom Brady orange parallel of his base card numbered to 500 something out of a blaster of 2022 Score.

Like, legitimatly thrilled, because it was so far beyond what you would normally get as a "hit" in today's era.

Ten or 15 years ago, pulling a card like that would have been like, "cool, nice Brady, I'll have to remember to sleeve that up later, but first I gotta check out the guaranteed mem or auto card first."

Paying a minimum of $5 more - and don't get me started on Prizm for $15 more - for significantly less value is just not a sustainable business practice or attractive proposition for customers.
