Card Grading Extras

All ‘pack-pulled’ autographs submitted for grading will be subject to a separate $5 grading fee for the autograph. Any autographed card that has a printed guarantee or stamp from the card manufacturer authenticating the autograph itself, is considered a ‘pack-pulled’ autograph. Learn more on the FAQ page.

AUTOGRAPH CARDS

Any card that measures 5”x 7” or over will be considered oversized and be subject to an $8 fee for our variety of oversized holders.

OVERSIZED CARD

Submit a completed RCR for grading and encapsulation at your choice of service. Learn more on the FAQ page.

RAW CARD REVIEW

Submit a card previously graded by BGS or another grading company for an opportunity to achieve a higher overall BGS grade or a minimum crossover grade of your choice of service. If the card receives a minimum grade bump, it will be automatically re-labeled and re-encapsulated. Learn more on the FAQ page.

GRADED CARD REVIEW

Submit any previously graded BGS cards with outdated labels to have them replaced with the current label. Our graders meticulously inspect all “Re-Label” cards to ensure accurate grading. Learn more on the FAQ page.

RELABEL

<h5>Grading is a process of assessing the condition of a trading card and assigning it a numerical grade based on a set of predefined criteria.</h5>There are four subgrades that are commonly used: centering, corners, edges, and surface. A card with high subgrades in all four categories will receive a high grade based on a 10 point scale, while a card with low subgrades will receive a lower numerical grade. Beckett reviews both the front and back of all cards in these four categories.
